what happen to johnathan. I know he had surgery for a brain tumor. when did he start acting normal again, and why isn't he telling lily.

When he rescued Lily in New York from "T" or Terry (involved with Di at some point in the past), they got in a fight. He rescued Lily, but took a pretty hard hit in the head. He refused to get help then--even though he was having horrible headaches--because he didn't want Lily to worry. They ended up getting married. They'd been back in Pine Valley a few days, he was still having horrible headaches and whatnot. I believe he ended up fainting or collapsing at the park, and when he woke up in the hospital...then he was back to normal. He didn't want Lily to know because he didn't want her to think that they weren't compatible anymore. He wants Lily to feel secure and needed...and in some ways smarter than him.
So far, Amanda and Erin are the only ones who know for sure...although other people will probably find out soon.

I forget the incedent that reversed his mental impairment but it was about a month ago. He is keeping it secret from Lily so that she will continue to fully trust him. Lily knowing that Johnathan is so called normal again will jeopardize his relationship with her. Jackson would really think Johnathan was manipulating Lily if he knew Johnathan was back to normal.
I am umemployed at the moment and proud to be a AMC viewer!!

He got some kind of hit on the head and is now "normal", but he is hiding it from Lily so that she will feel comfortable with him and they can stay married. Jack overheard him talking in his normal voice to Erin today, and then Lily walked up and he started talking in his brain tumor voice. So Jack is now onto him.

I don't know your children...If you have a child with a brain tumor, you should have been with him and talked to the doctors. Who is Lily?
