I am in the process of starting up a production company. I used to have my own company years ago but got out of the business back then. Now I have decided to try it again.

The publisher is not always the copyright holder - you can find the name of the copyright holder through either the catalog page or the Library of Congress.

First, find out the copyright information. You can do that here: http://www.copyright.gov/records/

Next, contact a copyright attorney for advice on how best to proceed.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!
