Jogging is better. Bike riding is only really good for you if you race. You have to remember the wheels are doing most of the work for you, ALL of the work if you are coasting or going downhill. When you jog, every step you take, you are lifting your whole bodyweight into the air.

Riding a bike is better. Jogging 'jolts' the joints and spine. You can get results and health benefits from riding a bike.

Both are excellent for you. You will burn more calories in a shorter time jogging than biking. However, biking is MUCH easier on your joints, and uses lots of muscle groups. Both require some special gear, so pick the one that you enjoy most. I like both.

both mean effort so it's stressful on your body but riding a bike doesn't hurt your legs as much as jogging does.;)

its more excersise to jog but i prefer riding a bike because you can go a lot farther and see a lot more and get about the same amount of exercise, if you get good at it you can use it for an alteernate source of transportation

Jogging is better because it exercises more body parts...especially if you swing your arms as well. It is also better for your cardio vascular system. It is recommended that you wear the proper shoes and do a warm up exercise before and a cool down exercise after wards.
