having your tonsils rtemoved is one of those mythycal fears said to have negative effects. In truth, it is a minor operation that should not affect your tonality one way or another.

No, having your tonsils removed will not affect this in anyway at all. In fact, the only affect of removing them is to cut down on the infections a person gets.

So, now that I think of it, if it cuts down on illness (which it does, I know first hand) then it would actually have an indirect affect on performance as the individual would not have so many illnesses. When a person is filled with mucous, I think that would have a nasty affect on the singing. Being sick all the time would also affect how well the individual feels, how much energy there is, and would affect dancing and other physical activities up on stage. If a person is sick and tired there just is a huge reduction in energy.

So, while having the tonsils removed would not affect tonality in any way, it would have a positive impact on performance and stamina.
