Because it the only sport which utilizes complete mental fitness, physical fitness, dexterity and a whole lotta other stuff which makes it practically the best sport in the world!

Soccer is a very exciting sport. It is easy to learn for some people. Many countries in the world know soccer. Soccer can keep people in good physical condition. Soccer is not my favorite sport, but it is probably in the top 5 of my favorite sports.

Because soccer is not just a sport.Soccer is a school.With soccer(especialy if you are a soccerplayer)you can learn how to live better,how to try harder and whith the right way to achieve your goals,how to live for a team like friends and fimily and do your best for them to have it all.I play in the children team of AEK Athens in Greece and I live my own that I am sasying to you.I'm 14 years old and i already know how to do my best for every team i join, how to make the right friends and how to be the best friend for them.

I don't think so at all. I mean if you dig low scoring. players who can't hit the net, diving and a time clock that makes no sense at all (well, there is no clock really...I think it's so slow a sport they time it with a sun dial)--fine.
I prefer the fast action of NHL hockey (as in ice, Argy boy)--where speed, action, toughness and no metrosexuals can be seen.

because goals actually matter. in basketball a basket or two doesnt really matter because 5 seconds later the other team will make one. in soccer one goal can mean a hell of a lot more.
