George Bush has ever stopped a gay marriage from happening.

Gay marriages have been going on for decades and are legal to be part of in EVERY state in the union.

What George Bush and the religious right are doing is putting legislation into place to make it so that no state will recognize gay marriages as equal to straight marriages. They want the government to be able to say that those marriages aren't "real." so we won't recognize them.

It is remarkably sad that so many people think that they are trying to actually "ban" gay marriage. Not one state or federal proposal has yet to do that... nor will they. They know it won't pass that way, so they have to go around it and be sneaky about it... and convince people that they are actually banning it.

Bush is against gay marriage because of fact gay human beings can not have infants. the U. S. economic equipment is a ponzi scheme and as such needs greater human beings to consume and incur debt in the different case the economic equipment will crumple. it is an identical reason Bush is against abortion; if abortion is criminal, much less infants would be born. The Democrats choose some whistleblowers to step as much as the plate and sue the massive firms to get better taxpayer funds and disclose corruption.

Why would that make him a biggot??, i do not agree with Gay marriages, what will happen to the children?

Just because i disagree with something doesn;t make me a biggot, there are things you disagree with..i suppose your not a biggot. To disagree is everyones right, to take steps to cause any kind of harm be it emotional or physical to anyone because of your views is whats the wrong thing

He didn't stop gay marriage, he just tried and failed (as he does time and time again). As of now marriage is managed by the states and should remain a state issue.

I wouldn't say that he is a biggot for his decision- we all know that he makes a load of mistakes that backfire all the time

Sadly, it's because he's so closed minded about this issue that will continue to be heard until the day we die! Here in Canada it's still an issue, but I see the day coming when it will be okay to stand hand in hand with our partners at the altar. Just not in my lifetime!
