Why???? How about this one why hasn't the government taken a more pro-active role in investigating it? All for the same reasons, people's civil rights, that is what it boils down too. Every Islamist in the U.S. would get an attorney and claim his rights were violated, then the NAACP would start crying about it racism and profiling. That's why. All these NAACP lawyers have to be the dumbest bunch of idiots on the planet with this racial profiling. Here's an example, and its just an example I'm not trying to imply anything about any race here. But if the police get a description of a suspect in a bank robbery, for instance, and the description is an African-American Male, 20 - 30 years old wearing a baseball cap, who do you think the police are going to stop and question? Joe Smoe the white guy walking down the street in a suit, the old lady crossing the street, or the guy sitting on the corner acting suspicious that fits the description? Just like the Islamists, who would you consider someone worth investigating, an Arab man, or a Chinese man?
The U.S.A. is the greatest country in the world, but some of these laws actually hurt us sometimes, and put us at risk. The terrorists and their supporters know this, know that this is the only country where even they have rights that will protect them, and they use it to their advantage.

My friend, you really need to pay closer attention to the news. Everywhere after 9-11 the Media covered and profiled all aspects of Islamic life and attitudes in America. You can't go a single day without seeing some television program addressing the issue or some talking heads discussing those issues or some news re-cap of this very same issue.
Either you are not too informed of you're a puppet trying to blemish the media.

Because then they couldn't generalize that all Islamists are insane murderes. If they investigated Muslims in the USA, people would see that NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE CRAZY.
That would be bad for the Military Industrial Complex who OWNS the media in america. do not dispute this, it is fact that they own the media.

Because most Islamists in America are peaceful as are many of the worlds Islamics. And the last time I looked, we still have freedom of and from religion. And who in the Gestapo media do you want to be the Grand Chief Inspector, Rush Limpbow ?(viagra) Perhaps Ann Coultergiest as his *** istant? Good for you!

how about having every citizen under surveillance... because there is such a great threat... any person... white... black.... yellow might anytime be hired by the tirrorists. I think there should be periodic ideology tests through lie detectors and all homes should be searched regularly. Danger can come in any disguise.
It would be decent to recruit at least 20% of the population to spy over the rest and then another 5% ie crème de la crème ie purest of the pure blooded Americans to spy over the said 20%

sir. Muslims have the lowest crime records in the states. i will say investigate drug dealers, criminals, murders and bad politician. those are the one u should investigate. Muslims in America are just people like me and you, who love their children and family and want to live in peace.

really? cause they do here. the guy who owns La Shish was just under scrutiny for perhaps donating money to terrorists abroad. And he's just one. Do you watch or listen to news programs like NPR? Or if not, I've found that all those other news channels just have talking heads, pundits, and partisan politic stories. Fluff, if you will
