Abortion is murder no matter what excuse you make / have commit the act. If it has a heart beat it is alive.
This is my comparrison
Pro choice persons view:. "opps i'm prego.. Oh it's gonna disrupt my lifestyle & I just can't afford it, wrong timing, I can't deal with it right now, I've still got too many things to do before I am tied down to a whiney baby" .
My sucky comparrison: I'm driving down the road, your crossing the road, I see you at the last second it takes too much time, energy, to try to stop, I don't give it any thought to try to stop, I run you over so I can continue on my way in my busy life & do what I want.. . Opps!
I know this is a sucky comparrison but every choice you make has a consequence. BE RESPONSIBLE. If you can't raise a baby don't get in the act of making one. Just like if you don't know what breaks are stay outta the car!
Just think if all the people who are "pro choice" or anti life " If only thier parents thought the way that they did we wouldn't have this problem. huh?

Roe v. The courtroom desperate that an excellent to privateness decrease than the due technique clause interior the Fourteenth modification to the USA shape extends to a female's determination to have an abortion, yet that good could be balanced against the state's 2 valid pastimes for regulating abortions: preserving prenatal existence and preserving the mum's wellness. asserting that those state pastimes exchange into extra advantageous over the path of a being pregnant, the courtroom resolved this balancing try via tying state regulation of abortion to the mum's modern-day trimester of being pregnant.

Your statistics are wrong, but we'll ignore that.
The question boils down to this: should the government be allowed to choose who can and who cannot remain pregnant, or should that choice be left up to the individual?
Face it. someone is going to choose. It's either going to be the individual, or it's going to be the majority (through enacted laws).
The US is founded on the principle that personal liberty and fundamental freedoms will not be infringed or control by the government unless there is no other way to address a compelling government need.
Do you know why China can mandate abortions and force sterilizations? Because reproductive choice is not a guaranteed fundamental right. As soon as Casey is overturned (for those who forget: Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Court in Planned Parenthood v. Casey in 1992) we've lost freedom from government interference in reproductive choice.
Try to imagine what could happen, if all reproductive rights are now subject to state control.
New York or Florida could pass a law saying that anyone making less than $30K per year cannot have children, and must abort any pregnancy, because they obviously cannot support them financially. No constitutional challenge, because reproductive rights are no longer nationally protected. It's up to the states to decide.
Or North Carolina or Texas decides that convicted felons should never have children, and starts imposing mandatory sterilization as part of criminal sentences. No constitutional challenge, because reproductive rights are no longer nationally protected. Let the states decide. Right?
South Dakota has already outlawed abortion, even in the case of rape or incest or permanent harm to the mother. Then, they take it one step further, and mandate that single women must serve as surrogates for embryoes created by fertility clinics, to ensure that no embryo is denied the opportunity for life. No constitutional challenge, because reproductive rights are no longer nationally protected. The government is allowed to decide who is and who is not pregnant, and the life of the mother is secondary to that of the embryo.
Do you really want to abdicate that much of your personal freedom and choice to a group of politicians? Do people really want to live in a country where state legislatures can decide who can be pregnant, and who cannot, and who must? Do people really have that much trust and faith in government that they think the legislature will always make the right choices? Because we'll be stuck with those decisions.
The concept of reproductive freedoms is not whether you agree with the individual choices being made. It's whether you think the government should have the right to take away and mandate those choices.
Why can't people understand that freedom of choice is not a minority value, even if the majority happens to disagree with the minority's choice?

I believe in a culture of responsibility. No, abortion should not be legal. People should live with the consequences of their sexual behavior. I can't even imagine how some people can argue for its legality. Have you ever seen the photograph of an aborted "fetus". It's absolutely human in every respect, except that it is not outside its mother's womb yet.
It's legality just stupifies my mind and makes me wonder sometimes whether or not America has granted "freedom" to too m any behaviors and allowed too many immoralities under its umbrella.

well it is legal. the question should be Should abortion be made illegal?
some statistics would be good with that 90% statement that I have a hunch is false.
Europe has lower abortion rates because they have more comprehensive sex ed and access to contraception.
80,000 women die every year from illegal abortions. That is the bottom line, women die when abortion is illegal and unsafe.
In many cases people are trying to practice safe sex and because of improper education and a lack of education they use it incorrectly.
What kind of mind thinks that a good "punishment" for women is to force them to be pregnant as a way of enforcing "responsibility" and probably mess up their unwanted child's life? creating another generation of messed up people.
To decrease abortions there has to be more education and access to birth control and contraceptives.

In the majority of places where abortion is illegal, women also don't have any rights. I personally don't see a point to your argument because of this.
I don't see how it being more legal to shoot your wife and it is for your wife to have an abortion has any meaning towards the abortion arguments.

I do not believe in abortion but believe that each individual must decide for themself. Do you realize how many children suffer and are abused due to being unwanted? Is it better that the parent should have had an abortion? I honestly don't know the answers and am glad I am not faced with that decision.

Your stats are seriously off.
Part of the privilege of living in a free society is that we can make our own choices. This being said, it is unfortunate that our bodies are capable of reproduction long before our minds are mature enough to make those decisions. As a society, where do you think we would be if all the young 12, 13, and 14 year olds.... were REQUIRED to keep their unplanned pregnancies? Freedom of choice is a valuable privilege and it's unfortunate some people feel strongly that they should be allowed to impose their beliefs on everyone. Freedom of choice is just that, it's my right to choose what is right for my situation, and it's your right to choose what is right for your situation. Be thankful you live in a place where you can make your own choices.

Women should be able to get an abortion if they want it. If they can't then they might try to do it them selves and hurt themselves in the process. i say this mostly for all those women and young girls that get forced into having sex or are raped and get pregnant. If you choose to have sex and get pregnant then you should be ready to face the consequences and don't try to take the easy way out.
