I thought it was bad intelligence, depends upon how you look at it.

Do you not follow the news? Sen.Santorum and Rep. Hoekstra, have spoken about recently de-classified information that found: Since 2003,our troops have found over 500 canisters or missiles tipped with degraded sarin and mustard gas. They may have been 12-15 years old and degraded but still lethal. And this fromWikipedia--"Since the end of major combat operations, no nuclear weapons had yet been found, but on July 6, 2004, the Department of Energy announced that a joint effort with the Pentagon had removed 1.77 metric tons of low-enriched uranium from Iraq “that could potentially be used in a radiological dispersal device or diverted to support a nuclear weapons program.” In addition, the UN inspectors (as well as David Kay and Charles Duelfer) found sodium cyanide, sarin nerve agent, and mustard gas in Iraq".I got this information from the encyclopedia, not hard to find. There were WMD's in Iraq,Saddam lied, not anyone else! Now you know the truth, let's hope it sets you free.

The better question would be, if there were WMDs, why were they not unleashed upon our soldiers? Clearly they did have them. Bush would not have sent our soldiers into a situation where they would have been gassed. We are smart enough to know those types of weapons degrade over time. We did find expired chemical weapons. But Saddam knew this time if we invaded we were not going to let him get away. So if he had weapons, he would have used them. The logic follows then that we knew he did not have effective weapons, but we needed an excuse to topple his so called government and set up our base in Iraq. We needed to close our base in Saudi Arabia. So we decided the best place to relocate would be Iraq. The problem is the Neocons lied to us to accomplish this. They would have been better off telling us the truth from the start. Instead they lied and keep changing their story as to why we invaded. It's strange, but the loyal Republicans, follow along without questioning the reasons. I assume most are not stupid, yet they buy whatever they are told.
And if you choose to respond to my comments, please don't be abusive or use foul language. I love this country just as much as you do, so don't question my patriotism.
Thanks

Uh, what were those 500 artillery shells filled with Sarin nerve agent that were recently found in Iraq? And since Sadman Hussein had the bulk of the WMD moved to Syria (Hezbollah probably working a deal as we speak to get some to use on the Israelis), we don't know how much he actually had.
Next, libtard.

They found them.
Some old cannisters of mustard gas that have been buried since
the Iran - Iraq war.
They dug them up and paraded them in front of Fox "news".
.....
They didnt really find any Coherent WMD program.
They found scatterings of crap that were not a threat to anyone, anymore than if we invaded france and dug up old chemical warheads from around the nation, and scraped them together
and said.. .
SEE we found the WMD programs!
This is why the Inspectors all dismiss this nonsense.
But Faux News watchers will tell you what they have been programmed to believe.

Hun, the WMDs were found, some of them, not long ago. Why don't the likes of CNN report the truth? The rest were removed to Syria because people like you let Saddam know we were coming. Neolibs wouldn't know the truth if they tripped over it and wouldn't believe it anyway.

To say Iraq never had wmds is denying history, they used them on several occasions against Iran and the Kurds.

If you were Saddam Hussein wouldn't you try to get WMDs? Doesn't everybody?
Back in Gulf War I, Saddam Hussein wanted to save his air force from American attack. It stored it temporarily in Iran until things blew over. (The problem was that Iran never returned it!).
It's possible he used the same strategy ...but this time with Syria..to protect his WMDs. We won't know for sure until we check Syria. ;)

What the hell is a neokon/neocon? A new conservative? Man, they aren't conservative, they don't even know the meaning of the word.
But, you have to ask yourself, why did all the Democrats preach the same line of dogma? They did and you know it. Maybe the Democrats wanted a war started so they would have something to whine about. Maybe the Democrats should go live with the Islamo-facists for a short period and make friends with them..... LOL, it would be a short period... their heads would roll.

Sorry man but I doubt seriously if you even know the meaning of truth. You come on here talking about destroying the property of other people (remember when you told us that you rip pages out of books at Barnes and Noble?) you advocate violence toward people who disagree with you (remember you asked about kicking people and spitting in their faces?) and then you come on here and talk about truth? I think someone needs to do some soul searching.

They don't. They know for certain that WMDs WERE IN FACT FOUND.
• Found: 1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium
• Found: 1,500 gallons of chemical weapons
• Found: Roadside bomb loaded with sarin gas
• Found: 1,000 radioactive materials--ideal for radioactive dirty bombs
• Found: 17 chemical warheads--some containing cyclosarin, a nerve agent five times more powerful than sarin
