You have to have a CD drive with burner capability
Any blank CD-R will do
Put the blank CD-R into your CD drive. It should open a window where you can see the empty CD
Drag the picture(s) you want to burn into the CD window
When you have them all dragged over, go up to the File menu in the CD window, and select "Burn". It should take about 5-10 minutes to burn the files to the CD
When all done, click on the pictures on the CD to be sure they open.

If you're taking your pictures to CVS anyway, you can simply upload them to their website. Most stores do this these days; Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, CVS, Eckerd, and others all ought to have some sort of system on-line to do this.
Go to their websites and find the link to photo development. Usually what happens is you select the pictures from your machine that you want to put up (it takes about 45 seconds per photo to be uploaded, so go do a load of laundry or something). Then you tell them what you want (size, number, fancy add-ons like putting it on a mug, etc.). You can usually pick them up in a day or two. You can also share them with others...you can have them sent to Grandma's local CVS in Grand Rapids or wherever, and she can pick them up on her next trip.
Usually the recipient has to pay for it themselves; only if you're getting a lot of photos developed (about $35 in my limited experience) can the tab be picked up via charge-card on-line (and thereby can Grandma be spared the cost). These sites charge about $.19 to $.25 per print. You can also have the pictures delivered to your home for a fee.
The pictures aren't kept at the site (so it's pretty secure - but also be careful not to hit the "previous page" button or you'll have to reenter the information). Conversely, some sell a service that gives you space to show your pictures (and since you're paying for it, again, there's some security), and you can E-mail whoever is interested about the site. They can go to that site, select the ones they like, and print their own.

the way I do this's detect a application talked approximately as "Sonic digital Media Plus" and make an information disc. There are a ton of alternative courses that do an identical ingredient. I even have made a image disc by merely like establishing the my computing device ingredient to it (did that make sense lol) and copying and pasting the information in there. i think of making use of a application to make an information cd is the finest way. solid success : )

Ahead Nero allows you to save "data" on to a "data" disc. It's also great for making music CDs.

Any CD-R(W) or DVD-R(W) will do. Pictures are just data and that's how you should save them. Drag and drop
