1) Not ALL gay men do not develop effeminate, whiney voices or any other feminine characteristics. There are as many different individual characteristics within the gay community as in any other.
2) Maybe the question was removed because it sounds as if you were making a yet another bigoted stereotype about homosexual men, as seems to be so common in this forum.

Surely, It is not all gay males that sound that way, and those that do don't do it by choice, I assure. Also, I find it quite pathetic that you would go so low as to insult people for something over which they have no control, and not liking something certainly isn't an opinion that needs to be shared, especially where the emotional and psychological well being of others are concerned. You should instead learn to accept (not necessarily like) the fact that this is an extremely diverse world we're living in, learn some tolerance, and simply move on, because it's not changing anytime soon. Next time you ask a question you should do so in a more sensible and less offensive manner to calmly open the door for mature conversation. Unless your end goal was to troll in which case would reduce you to nothing more than a loser with plenty of time on your hands and nothing better to do than piss people off. I'd sorely pity you. On another note, I myself don't have an "effeminate" voice/accent but find it somewhat irresistibly attractive :)

RE:
Why do gay men ALL eventually develop that whiney, effeminate voice? And why was this question removed?
It's a legitimate question. Every gay man I've seen in my life had that effeminate, whiney sound to his voice. When I asked this before, no one answered and the question was removed. I am not "gay bashing" (although virtually ANY negative comment about homosexuality is called...

How do you know that those with the "whiney, effeminate" voices are the only gay men you've seen? They're probably the only ones you've noticed. There are many, many gay men who do not have effeminate sounding voices.

All gay men do not eventually develop that whiney effiminate voice. I know what you are referring to when you ask this question, however I know plenty of gay men with deep voices that do not talk that way. Sounds to me like you haven't had much exposure to gay men.

I know very few gay men with a "whiny, effeminate voice."
Now I wouldn't have been offended with your original question. However, it's hard not to consider a question with the sentence "gays are a very closed-minded, bigoted and hostile bunch" not to be homophobic or prejudiced.

You're not "gay bashing" as such, you're just stereotyping (which is the next best thing). The real question is, "Why do I only encounter gay men with..."
And the answer to that question, no one can really answer because we don't know anything about you. We just know that for some of us, either ourselves or else definitely our friends are gay and do not change their voice.

They ALL do not have that voice. However,I know what you are talkign aboout and I believe that sexuality is a genetic issue,so it seems to me that the voice issue could also be genetic in some, not all, gay men. Also, they are not ALL closeminded.Firstly, they are under attack ever day by the general American public.Secondly, every group of people has close minded individuals.

You hear a man with a feminine voice and you assume he's gay. You hear a man with a masculine voice and assume he's straight. It is your assumptions which are faulty.
