is there any way to stop sharing when using limewire?????? i reallllly need to no please help asap~

ok HOW can i stop sharing on limewire???please help. asap!

u could find the options in the options of the program or simply move the contents of the folder to a new folder. create a new folder in your computer somewhere that u know where it is and then after a song is downloaded cut and paste the file from the shared folder to the new folder

One thing I do is I keep "erasing" the people who try to download from my machine (It makes my downloads slooooooooow)
And the other thing, my favorite, I keep my files on another folder.
My "save and share" folder is called "temp" and once I downloaded the song I'll put it elsewhere so my share folder is always empty :)

in your options menu, click on it and you should see a bullet point or something where is says sharing. click on that part. there should be a button or box that says share files, uncheck that box. where it shows your sharing folder, delete it and you won't have to worry abour sharing again

in options>upload then linit your upload speed to its minimun then you wont be able to upload any files anymore
