Probably your HOSTS file is hosed.

Go to

Get SpyBot and AdAware

Run both

Assuming Windows XP and a home router with high-speed connection...

Try rerunning the set up a home network wizard in My Network Places. Tell it you connect directly to the Internet. That should put in the right settings.
