Well, if you are aware of the national no-call list, you might wanna check out http://www.ebaumsworld.com/morepranks.shtml. It has voice over cuts from various actors and various movies. The makers of this site have compiled prank calls both incoming and outgoing with several of the 'actors voices'. There is a version of a telemarketer calling them and they use Arnold Schwarzenegger and it's hilarious. You did say you wanted something funny right?

I just cut them off in the middle of their pitch and say that this number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry and that they are breaking the law by calling. They either hang up immediately, or apologize and hang up. I don't get a whole lot of telemarketers anymore.

Charities and non-profits are exempt from the DNC Registry, so the way I deal with them is I tell them that their cause is, of course, worthwhile, which is why I volunteer for/donate to (insert name of better-known charity here). For instance, I had some cancer research organization call, and I'd never heard of them, so I used the above statement and said I volunteer for the American Cancer Society. (that happens to be true, but you can lie if you feel comfortable and know enough about the group to elaborate if you want to)

Get you number on the National No Call List. Look it up on the net and follow the instructions. Works like a charm!

I get alot of calls at work from them, honestly I just hang up before they start talking (there is a delay when they call and it takes a few second for them to say hello) so I know its them. If they respond right away and actually start talking I just ask them to hold and then I keep them there till they hang up. Hehehe....

Hi,
When they call ask their name and where they are calling from then ask them if they are selling anything. Of course they answer no, so then say "Well if it turns out that you are going to sell something I will hunt you down and kill you. Now do you still want to proceed?." Works every time

Pretend that the person they called for has recently died or give in and tell them hey i cant help you but I can give you other numbers of people that may be interested in buying your products! Then give them your enemies phone numbers lol

Do what I have done, vent all your frustrations to them, don't let them get a word in edge wise, and I mean let it all out, they will hang up, and flag your number, as a lunatic!...It's fun too, and really helps relieve stress...:)
