Of course it's hypocritical, but remember, we're run by a bunch of neocon, uptight, freaky old Republicans who say "no sex!" in public, but in private put on their leather and chains and pay lots of money for hookers!
PS... "Charlies?" You cheeky monkey!

Of course. I totally agree with the other answers, but it's not just the current bozo in the white house who's a hypocrite. It's true he tells us he's abolishing our first amendment rights by spying indiscriminately on whoever he/Cheney/Rove think dangerous, but he's not the only one.
Remember the tobacco industry that knew their product was a killer and still smothered us with sexy women and virile men in their ads. More hypocracy!
Think about today...isn't it hypocritical for US oil companies to rake in "record profits", while holding the US public hostage at the pump?
What about all those congressmen and women we elect who vote not on their conscience ("I felt the war with Iraq was wrong, but I wanted to support the president/") but on what they think will win them brownie points with the pres. And don't you think it's total hypocracy for them to be wasting their time with votes on flag burning and abortion while cutting out education budget, our borders and ports are unsafe, medicare funds have been cut...the list is endless.
Sorry about your wife...you'd think with organized gangs and unlicensed guns patrolling out streets the police would have other things to do with their time. Now you know...Google nude beach whenever you're planning a trip to the water. Keep up your outrage...it's the only things that's going to keep this country from totally destructing.

Of course not.
Though, I'm in favor of topless sunbathing,
playboy is supposedly sold only to adults
(baywatch?, not the same category).

it wasn´t america which gave us playboy and these things...but free entrepreneurship. that the public moral of the society there is somewhere on a roll back trip or just stayed conservative may viewed as a time spirit phenomenon
