I have traveled a lot on car with my family and i personally think is great!!! About the safe part....I actually have never carried a boat nor a yacht, but In my trips I have seen many people doing that. So don't worry!

There ought to be a lot of boats in Wisconsin. Is this some special or unique style or brand?

Depending on where you are in WI, and where the boat is in FL, you could be talking about a 2000-3000 mile round trip. That can be 100-200 gallons of gas - $300-650, call it, plus minimum 4 days driving.

On the other hand, it could make a great road trip, and a chance for dad and Uncle Jimmy to hang out together for awhile.

Are they driving back with it? Or just going to look at it. If the latter, then they should fly one way and sail the boat from Florida to Wisconsin. Go up the ICW and through the Great Lakes via NY state, and get over that way.

It depends on how bad you want the boat. I wouldn't worry if I were you, I don't think they would drive that far unless they knew it would be worth the trip.

All depends on how great a deal the boat is.

It is a good possibility. I would definitely try to find out more about it first. Such as Condition, amenitities, size, mechanical function....etc
