i have only watched the dubbed version, and i agree that dubbing does make it a little more goofy, but thats just about what you are always gonna get. i would like to try subbed though. i used to HATE anything with subtitles because i want to watch not read a show. but it has grown on me over the years, and i think i handle it now. haha. where can i get subbed versions of naruto?

I say the dubbed version is better. In the subbed version, you can't really understand the feelings of the voice as much as you would in the dubbed. For example, there was this episode, somewhere before they meet gara. And before that, kakashi left sakura and naruto. and naruto was like "Is he givin us some alooooooone time?" It was funny the way he said it, and you wouldn't be able to hear that in the subbed version. And I like it when Shikamaru says "what a drag" instead of "how troublesome" that is how they sub it in the japanese version.
So go with the dubbed, I say.

It usually isnt the voices that suk when they make a anime dubbed, the american companies usually edit a lot of things out, so the subbed version is almost always better.

Subbed! Even though i don't need it. The Japanese version is so better then the crappy English ones. Like Lee-san's voice. In the Japanese version, its a scranny little voice, but the english voice makes him well weird sounding.
