Hopefully you aren't just being snoopy and learning the secret is for good reason ;) ...

The most straight-forward, least slimy way is to give them good arguments for why they should tell you the secret.

For example: Tell them the possible negative consequences for them holding onto the secret.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I could help you more with your question if you could explain a little more. Like can you say what the nature of the secret is? What the person is protecting? Thanks.

First tell one of ur secrets to them and make them feel how important they are to u.. then they will surely find the confidence to tell u their secret

tell them a fake secret and then guilt trip them into telling you the one you want to know. Or fart into a pillow and smother their face with it until they give it up.
