I have a tadpole that won't grow. It just stays the same with little white bumps on the sides. I'm not sure what to do.

It's probably a bullfrog tadpole and they take a long time to mature. Or maybe he's rebelling against the whole "grow up and move out of your ponds basement" thing. Slacker tadpole?

Are you sure that this critter is a tadpole? With the white spots on it's sides, it sounds like it could be a salamander or a newt.

Maybe it's not a tadpole?

cool, the poor dude is a freak of nature. he has stopped evolution! hopefully he is not malnourished, and it is just captivity or his genetics causing it. but keep him as long as he seems "happy", and get yourself another tad pole to grow into a froggy. be sure to get them plenty of sunlight too!
