If so, can you give an example or compare it to something else that hurts just as bad. Plus, does it hurt for days after and how long do I have to keep it in before I can take it out?

if you must get one, it does hurt more than getting your ears pierced.
Its like a really bad needle, or similar to getting the top of your ear pierced.
It shouldn't hurt for days afterwards.
You should keep it in for a few weeks, and clean regularly to avoid infection.

Well yeah it hurts more than getting your ears pierced. But not that much more. Cuz the nose is more sensitive. After you get it pierced there's this feeling that hurts more than getting your ears pierced and it lasts for about a week. You should keep it in for about 6 weeks. Best of Luck!

Actually getting your nose pierced hurts wayy more than getting your ears pierced. When getting your nose pierced, they take a hook or something and puncture your skin. When getting your ears pierced they also do the same thing except it's alot quicker. They have something that looks like a gun with a needle which pierces your ears very very quickly. Like a split second. It hurts like a pinch. If you pierce your nose, i would think it would hurt more like scraping your knee on cement compared to the pinch. Hope this helps!

Dont listen to the first answer it is not trashy...some people can actually pull it off and make it look good. I heard from my boyfirends mom that it hurt just about as bad as labor and she was drunk when she got it done. But it does look good on her all she has is a little stud...
Its really not like the pain is going to last forever so if you want it dont why not try it you only live once right

Yes, because the area of the ear where you pierce it is muscle, but the area of the nose is not.

hi...........yes because muscles of nose is hard than ear but before you pierced a nose you keep ice on your nose where you want to pierced than only and after also o.k.

no, not really it hurts a tiny but more than getting ur ears peirced. it's kinda like a small pinch of the skin right between ur fingernails.

nose piercing hurts more than ear piercing.
i've seen many people doin that.
first of all, ear is not as important as that of nose. the pain in our ears will vanish quickly whereas the pain in our nose vl b there for days...........
there r more advanced methods to pierce ears- like the piercing gun. nose piercing is still in the primitive stage....
but i like people who have their nose pierced.!!!!
