i'm 5' 3.5" and i'm about 120 pounds. i'm a runner/swimmer/former dancer, so i'm pretty in shape and i have strong legs. i'm pretty sure i've gone up a size from last time i went out shopping for jeans at the start of the last school year, so i'll need more this year, obviously, and i want to know which jeans would be best for me, since my last assortment of jeans wasn't as cute as i had hoped. i just want basic jeans, nothing too fancy, but still really cute, so i just wanna get opinions on the best jeans for me. thanks!

Since there's literally a gazillion jean brands, there's no way to tell you which would be best. And what are you willing to pay? You gave a pretty generic description but the bottom line is you have to find jeans by trial and error. Go to the mall and try on different jeans and see which ones fit the best. Tada!

I would say any brand would work it just depends on the material. I would say wear stretch. Based on your weight I would assume you are small framed. New York & Co. has some great jeans in any cut. Express also has great jeans in the "Editor" style. I do not own a lot of jeans but I will buy those because they make me look awesome. I weigh about 120lbs. I hope this helps you out.

Just try them on! You don't put enough info about your shape on here for me to really give you good advice. American Eagle jeans are pretty good, I prefer premium jeans (Red Engine, Yanuk, Joe's, Paige Premium Denim) because they fit better, but they tend to have long inseams like 33-36 inches which is great for me but probably not so much for you.

Go to a somewhat upscale department store, we have Dillard's here, and just try on different jeans from different brands. Remember that most of them will relax a little after you take them home, especially if they have spandex in them. I usually buy the ones that I can put on without lying on the floor but are a bit snug to zip or button, and after a washing & a wearing they fit perfectly.

depending on the shape of your legs, you need jeans that will flatter your flaws. for example, if you have a small butt, then you need jeans that will enhance it (try pockets), but if you have a big butt an big hips, then you need jeans that will hold position, and make that area smaller. try a different variety of jeans, like skinny jeans, flares, tight jeans, stretch, dark, light, faded. check out your favorite clothing stores for some new styles since fall is coming around, they should have a good assortment. also check out this website: www.alloy.com which has a huge selection of jeans from different companies. you can also order their catalog for free and look through it. but whatever you choose, make sure it is unique, comfortable, and suits your body.

good luck!

Try designer jeans like chip and pepper, citizens of humanity, Hudson, Joe jeans, seven for all mankind, rock and republic, and true religion.

Citizens of humanity, seven for all mankind and Hudson are my very favorite. Oh wait don't forget lucky jeans.

just try on a few of the above mentioned and you are sure to find the perfect pair.
