We have a AL only league and different teams had Cordero & Mench. Who gets Lee? Mench plays everyday but hasn't done squat in a long time. He does however have a respectable avg. and obp. Cordero is ranked higher according to our stats and actually has 12 appearances in the last month with a win, a hold, and a 4:1 K/BB ratio. But he lost his starting job early in the season and has a fairly high era. Any experts out there? What would your league do?

If Carlos Lee is avalible in your AL league, put a waiver claim now and hope that other teams in your league miss out (the highest waiver order usually get the player first). Mench and Cordero are useless in AL because they switch league (NL). If Lee is snatch up by someone else in the near future, wait until the trading deadline to see where guys like Soriano and Abreu end up. They could end up in the AL, but only time will tell.

Yeah that's a tough situation. Not sure where you are running your fantasy league, but my suggestion would be to flip a coin between the two teams, and the team that loses should get first choice of any free agent. Its tough, but it sounds like the fairest thing to me.

Waiver priority is usually based on draft order, if you aren't keeping up with it throughout the year.
