This is a question to settle an argument. If a women goes without a bra much of the time, will her breasts sag more than if she wears one all the tme- or does nature and gravity do their thing anyway?

Your breasts are supported by tendons--sounds weird, but it's true. Like all tendons they can stretch. They will stretch naturally as you age, or as a result of pregnancy and breastfeeding, but allowing your breasts to bounce also can contribute to stretching. Wear a bra for mild physical activity and a supportive sports bra for vigorous activity. However, going braless to sleep or when you're just sitting around shouldn't be a problem.

Going without a bra speeds the process up. While bras don't 100% prevent sagging, because as we get older and lose collagen, our breasts can't help but sag, but consistently wearing a bra does help fight gravity and your breasts will not sag nearly as much as if you went without.

Yes - if you go without one for long periods of time they will start to sag. Go without a bra when appropriate - guys love it.

Eventhough guys love gals going without a bra, they do not like saggy boobs- so make sure you wear one most of the time. Look into tops that have a built in bra. That way you techincally are not wearing a bra, but you get the support to keep them looking perky.

Yep wear a bra as much as you can. A good support one too not one of those flimsy don't hold anything ones. They are ok for dressing up or showing off but for everyday wear get a well made one and have it measured to make sure it fits properly. My mom and dad always joke how when dad proposed he promised to always buy my mom the best bras made.lol My mom is 77 and still doesn't sag, my dad's sister on the other hand, well we aren't sure if it's her nipple or she got her bellybutton pierced, she liked to go braless.

YES! Wear a bra.....only take it off when your sleeping! It does NOT matter if you are small breasted, either. Small boobs turn into long, skinny hangy things. Big ones turn into massive hangy things.

Nature takes it's course, but you can help make it happen less quickly by giviing those puppies SUPPORT!

There's one "rule of thumb" of knowing when it's time to never go braless. Place a pencil under your breast. If it stays there by itself, you need to wear a bra...the gravity is already taking its toll. If it drops, your breast is still firm and hasn't begun to sag. However, WEAR A BRA! Do you really want to hold a pencil under your breast any sooner than necessary??

:o)

A bra serves a few purposes:

support for your breasts

protects your breasts from injury

helps you keep them in one place

A good bra should help prevent back pain
if you are very blessed up top

Well, of course as you get older, you're boobs will get saggier to some extent, but my guess would be...if you're wearing a bra all the time...it'll probably help reduce some of the sagginess as you get older.
