Black, some yellows, light greens any other shade of blue there are a lot of colors that would compliment blue.

Yellow is a fresh, clean choice. Could go country, contemporary or Country French. Red can work, just avoid the overly patriotic look if that's not what you're going for. You could use either the white or the blue as well if you want to be more monochromatic.

Blue and white is very clean place to start, you can't go wrong. Good luck with it!

White and Blue are nice colours on thier own. If you want to add something you could try a little bright Pink or Pinky-Red.

depends what are the surrounding rooms colors, are you changing from a bold colored room into a soft colored room. i like flow so my rooms tend to lead into the other rooms and i have big open archways. there is a lot to consider when using color in a room and you don't provide enough info for a good answer.
