Well lets look at the clues. You said you got a jar of dirt. So I would come to the assumption there is dirt inside.

Ooo Ooo did you find a quarter in your jar of dirt.... i always find quarters in the dirt and im like "hooray im rich!!"
lol yeah im pathetic haha anyway yeah to give out points to someone you have to wait 24 hours after you have posted the question. Then just go to your Q&A page (you can get there by clicking on your picture/avatar/smileyface lol) and then click on the question and scroll down and choose which answer you wanna give the points to, then next to their answer just click the button that says "choose as best answer" and there you go that gives them 10 points!

I imagine there is water or some sort of liquid in it. Because a jar of dirt could be interpreted as made from dirt in which case it would be clay as in a ceramic vase or pot.
