Yes, but you will have to have XP on a CD (or floppies) with a boot disk. However, XP has a limit on re-installs so beware. But you can reformat -- losing all data now on the machine -- setting up new partitions in the process.

Try to use Partition magic in DOS Mode
In fact Partition magic work in this mode because it can partion your hard disk without the lost of data.

no i dont think so that it is possible...coz there are lotsa of shared dll and system files which can get misplaced during the partition can lead to the crashing of ur windows...

so unless u r an expert...dont try these things :) ;)

yes nowadays it's quite a common thing, for such tasks i prefer using disk director from acronis.
