depends on the religion

I would think for the most part, religious people are happier than non-religious people.
Life is easier if you believe in God and there is life after death.
Without God's love and a happy ending, you go through life knowing that you have to fend for yourself.
I know because I am an atheist and I'm always unhappy.

Yes, because extremley religious people are generally not as
intelligent as atheists or non-practicing religious people. People that don't think about much outside of the box are generally happier and tend to have less worries.

No. Religion is a very obscure term. Means many things to many different people. But quite frankly I would be happier if religious people didn't try to shove stuff down my throat and say things that don't make sense. My religion is science. The more we know and understand about our universe the closer we get to god.

That is a good question and I'd like to see an actual survey or study on it. However, I'd also want it to be done over a person's life, so no flash-in-the-pan religious changes mess up the survey with noise. Let's ask the elderly how their life is, and compare that to their beliefs.

Actually, I don't think I know any athiests over 70. Maybe that's like what they say: There are no atheists in foxholes.

i don't think of the two guy or woman could be greater content textile with themselves if that they had faith or not. some human beings sense that faith provides them a purpose whilst others discover that their infants or jobs or different issues supply them a purpose. it quite is what you sense is nice for you. those that at the instant are not religious can stay in simple terms as gratifying lives and people who're religious. i in my view think of being very religious can forestall you from experiencing an excellent style of issues. some human beings take faith over board and it may carry you back from lots. each and every thing is a sin to them. i think of overly religious human beings tend to be very slender minded and not open to distinctive human beings. so in that component i think of they might have some issues lacking. an excellent style of human beings become religious because of the fact it quite is something they are able to have faith in and be aside of. not everybody desires that for the time of their existence. it quite is distinctive for each guy or woman yet i don't think of one facet has it greater effective or worse than the different.

Qui Gon Jin IN Star Wars tells Obi " Your Focus determines your reality" and I personally believe that, what ever your focus maybe you could be happy or not happy, I think religion has very little to do with some ones happiness.

God brings joy to a life that's fulfilling and it satisfies that void and emptiness. I bet if there was a experiement testing this question; it would be true. I'm religious and happy if I know that I can trust God.

I believe in the bible and god but that don't mean that I am happy all of the time. My parents are very religious and they have goods days and bad days. You remember it is all in what you believe in.

Nobody becomes happy because they're just being religious.

Trust in the Lord Jesus, and your first benefit will be that you get your sins forgiven. You'll be ready for Heaven.

Many other benefits follow, such as peace, a happy life....
