Basically it is man ruining the Earths atmosphere by burning too much stuff and using chemicals, causing temperatures around the world to slowly rise and making the polar ice-caps melt, eventually dooming all life on the planet.

What has happened to the public school systems? Did ANY body study earth science? There has been many cycles of weather over the last 30,000 years... starting with a very warm planet that has been COOLING. (Read NOAA stats on the decreasing core temps.) Matter of fact: the earths temp over the last 150 years has risen by only .5 degree. (and that was at night!)I would not say that is a run away heat problem. Before you all run off the edge of the cliff following the likes of I invented the internet Gore... get your facts in order. CO2 is used by all living creatures in one way or another. Follow the temp swings in the 20's 30's and 40's, during those decades, the temps were all over the place. Doesn't it seem just a little too
easy to blame the US for the "warming of the planet" ? I could, if I lived in a third world country that has not even entered the 21st century... I could if I hated the capitalist form of goverment.. But, I don't and no, we are not going to fry like eggs on the sidewalk. Cheer up! and go cruising in your SUV with the A/C on high and smile as you pass that person riding their bicycle 30 miles to work... smoke'm if you got em....... :)
