Firstly, you should never take your iguana outside unless you can watch him at all times, and either have him on a leash or in an outdoor pen with a shaded area in case he decides he is finished with the sun.
Secondly, iguanas, especially males, get what is called "sun aggression", which is when they have been sunbathing for a while, they become a little more aggressive than normal. I had this with my 3 year old male green iguana, he would basically just not want me around when he was sunbathing, so if by "gets all crazy" you mean aggressive, that could be it. If you just mean he runs around and is hyper, he is probably sensing freedom and trying to escape, so be careful! Good luck!

i'm in Indiana and experience your soreness. The 0 and under has have been given to circulate! besides, it is going to initiate getting warmer on the top of March yet we surely could wait till previous due April to experience like spring is here.

i wouldent worrie about it my snake does the same thing when i take it out in the sun they just like the sun i guess

well he is probably scared he sees a bird or creature running around it scare him. make sure he is in a cage when he is outside don,t hold him he can jump out of your arms and you will lose him.

he gets all crazy cause he thinks he can run free again..please watch after him when he is outside cause he will try and run on ya.
