i hate when people on this site put on racist jokes and then in the end they wanna say sorry and they didn't mean to offend anyone. to me thats a bunch of BS. what do you think about racisim, i would tell you what i think but i don't have that much time to type a paragraph longer than this.

It's just unfortunate that people don't have variety in their life they don't know what versatility is. So people get these ideas and they keep them and they grow in their minds and become real. Why? Because it's easier to keep those thoughts that you grow up with and never investigate to see if there really are good people in all races. I mean there are definitely differences in races, but everyone should be accepted.

I think that people are afraid of what they are unfamiliar with, and the people that don't want to give time to get to know people who are different from themselves. I think MLK would be proud of the progress that we have made over the years but racism still exists and there are lots of people who will never change their views because they are too ignorant and unwilling to change. I think its really sad how someone can view another person and automatically judge them as "bad" just by the color of their skin, it really shows how closed-minded some individuals can be. I guess they don't realize we all have the same color blood running through our veins.

Ordinarily I'm totally against it, but I have had so many SOUR experiences with "chicanos" that I can't help but despise them as a whole....make a note...I'm not down on the [even illegal] Mexican nationals*, but I live in Texas and from age 14, I have had repeated very bad experience with "so-called'' chicanos, so I can't help it....sometimes I will find a rare exception, and I acknowledge it immediately, but for the most part, I have no use for them and my Mexican national husband knows it and agrees with me 100%. Sorry, your opinion is noble, but there ARE considerations.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, I'm afraid they will always exist.
The jokes are NOY funny, they only show the ignorance of the person posing the question.
What do I think about racism ? I think that if we could rid the world of it, most problems of society would disappear, and what a wonderful world it would be!
I can only hope that it will be in my lifetime.

I think that racists are closed-minded, uniformed, and secretly hate things about themselves which leads them to put down other people just to make themselves feel better. There is actually only one race, the human race.

I think where everyone lives, there is a group of people (race) that everyone looks down on, personally i dont like it, I have been the race that is looked down on, and personally, its hard but its the other people who have the problem, not me.
