I personally hope I never have to go though that with my son. I do not be live in it and find it very unmoral. I guess in a way I feel sorry for him. Also aren't people a little upset that he was a person you had a crush on in middle school and had you believe he was attractive to woman. Who else in Hollywood is hiding out? But it seems like know a day it is the in thing to be gay and you get a big honor. I think if that what it takes to be "in" I definitely want to be "out"..

For the fact that he is gay? NO ! Look at all the money he has made. Being gay had nothing to do with that, nor should it have any affect on the way people felt about him BEFORE he " came out".
Nobody feels sorry for Rosie O'Donnell ( course a lot of people never liked her anyway ), or Ellen Degeneras, and I think she's hilarious !

No, because I think he is happier now that he can admit who he is. Sure it would be hard to be gay with all the stereotypes and religious freaks out there, but it's not like it's a disease. If he's happy that's all that matters, it isn't anyone else's business.

Why feel sorry for him? It's not like he was in a car accident or lost a limb - he's gay. Who cares what he does behind closed doors?

Why would you feel sorry for someone who is in a stable relationship with someone they care about, regardless of sexual orientation? Being gay doesn't matter, all that matters is if he is happy. And if he's happy, why would you feel sorry for him?

Of course not. Being gay is not a bad thing. I just feel bad that everyone is making such a big deal out of it.

Nope. It's great that he came out because he's being honest with everybody and we need more honest people in the world. Oh, and it's prejudiced people like you that's keeping the human race back.

no if he's gay then just let it be. it's his life and i am sure i don't want people feeling sorry for him but happy that he is finally able to open up and not feel ashamed of who he is.

Why would you feel sorry for him?? If anything, you should be happy for him because he finally gets to be who he is.. and not just hide behind his former band. I give him props for finally saying it; though he should've said it sooner.
