A job is something that you choose to do to make money and is not necessarily a life long thing. A career is what you love and studied to become.

Basically a job is something you do to make money (work at McDonalds, work at a car wash) but a career is something you plan on doing for a long time (an accountant, a fireman or police officer). Usually a career is something you've gone to school for or something you choose to do for a living that you enjoy.

A job is a chore that someone pays you to do. A career is either a series of chores you do in the same field for a long time while being paid for your efforts, or it's something you enjoy doing and are fortunate enough to earn a living by doing it.

I think that a job is something you get up in the morning to go to just to pay the bills. The mindset of someone with a job rather than a career is different. When you have a "job" you don't nesc. think of it as permanent. When you have or are pursuing a career you think of this as a permanent thing.

A career can be comprised of many jobs.
For example, my career is "software developer" but I have had jobs at many companies over the last 37 years doing software development.

a career is something your doing that interest you and as a bonus you get paid to do it.!!!!!!
