Are they linked together and facing in opposite directions away from each other? If so, it's Chanel.
Coach makes some logo items that have "C"s facing in opposite directions, but they are not linked.
Gucci is "G"s, not "C"s, but could be mistaken for "C"s. They can be linked together and facing opposite directions, but would be facing inwards towards each other, unlike Chanel, which face away from each other.
However, I think you are referring to Chanel. Try doing a google search for "Chanel logo" and see if that's what you were thinking of.

If they are over lapping, it would be chanel. if they are next to each other, it would be coach.
