I think that the NFC East has came from one of the worst in the NFL to the best. Here are my thoughts on the division from first to last.
1) Redskins: Im a die hard Redskins fan, and Im not trying to be bias, but I feel that with the free agent aquisitions and the hellacious Coaching staff, they will end up on top. Al Saunders, Randle El, and Brandon Loyd will open up Portis to have a 2000 yard rushing, 15-20 TD's, season. Lets not forget about Santana Moss. Even though we got rid of Arrington, Coach Williams will have this Defense in the top 5 of the entire League. The deciding factor will be Brunell; he doesn't have to be perfect, but he has to be consistant.
2) Giants: The Giants are definatly going to be fighting for 1st. Tom Coughlin will have this team ready come opening day. Eli will have a tremendous year, he definatly has the personel to throw the ball to, Shockey, Burrus, Toomer, Moss. The Defense as well I believe will be in the top of the league, adding on Arrington can only help the team on and off the field.
3) Cowboys: Yet again I go back to coaching, Parcells is a genious, but he hasn't been able to help the team get back to the big game. I think that with Bledsoe being healthy and with the addition of TO (Hate Him) they will have a good season. TO will help the team alot, in the beginning, its when they start playing our division, he is going to get frustated due to the talent by all the teams in this division, and when they start losing games he'll find someone to blame, and the rest is drama. Defense is pretty good to.
4) Philly: I hate to do this to them, but Donovan McNabb can not carry this team to the playoffs all by him self, they have decent recievers, and a great running back, but thats not going to be enough to take them. If they give the ball to westbrook, they'll have a good season. This division is way to talented for McNabb and Westbrook to win games alone.

The East is definitely going to be a long drawn out fight that will not be decided until the last week. The Washington Redskins will be the division winners, they have made their recieving corps so much more deadly with the additions of Antwan Randle El, and Brandon Lloyd. It is not about playmaking abilities nonstop, with them they have made the whole offense that much more dangerous Moss can go deep while Lloyd goes across the middle for those tough catches he has proven he can get, and Randle El is a threat pretty much wherever he is on the field. The additions to this team are not limited to the players either they have wrapped up Williams for the long haul and added Al Saunders, an offensive Genius. No matter how hard the fight I think my Skins will end up taking the East, the Giants will get a wild card spot though so don't you Giants fans fret.

I preface all of this by saying every team in this division, including Philadelphia, is very talented and hungry. But there can only be one...
It's not the Eagles, because that offense no longer has a home-run threat. Granted, they are solid players and had injury problems derail them last year, but McNabb is no longer the running threat he once was and they will be easy for defenses to figure out.
It's not the Redskins, because I'm sorry, but three short wide receivers does not work, not even in today's NFL. They will also will miss LaVar more than they realize.
It's not the Cowboys, because Drew Bledsoe has turned into a poor man's Kerry Collins. They will be close, because that defense is young and talented, but a team goes as far as its leader. And there is no leadership on the field in Dallas.
I think it will be the Giants, because Tom Coughlin has had enough of the Eli-Jeremy-Plaxico problems. He will demand in training camp that they get it together on the field, and I believe they will. Tiki, now 31, is admittedly an age concern, but he's improved each of the last three years and Brandon Jacobs should spell him more this season. They finally have linebackers, and the shutout loss to Carolina will motivate them to be the class of this division in 2006.

Good Points there with the Giants, however, I'm going to have to go with the Washington Redskins. Coach Gibbs proved last year that he can still coach the players into his schemes and make those work in this day and age of free agency and spoiled players. The offense should be a bit better this year even with Brunell at QB. The defense is a bit of a question mark, with a few key defections taking place in the off season. No doubt there are questions with every team, but I doubt Dallas and Philly have everything they need for a playoff run. The Giants stand as the only team worthy of contending with the Redskins for the Division Title.

Well this is easily gonna be the toughest and hardest division to win in the NFL this season, the Cowboys are going to be pretty good with TO and probably will sweep the Eagles, the Giants have to win at home and they will have to also beat Dallas which is going to be hard they will split. Id say Cowboys go 11-5 and take the division and the Giants go 10-6 and make the wild card, but the skins will be strong, they have the best coaching staff in the NFL but noone to coach..lol they go 8 and 8 the eagles will fight for last winning nomore than 6 games

I'm going to go with the New York Giants, solely based on the improvements that they have made in the offseason. They added Sinorice Moss to an already nice receiving core consisting of Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer, also when Shockey is on a route, he can be a huge yard gainer right there. Barber is getting old, he is 31 now, and is getting some age gained on him. The defense has improved vastly, as they have added Sam Madison from the Miami Dolphins, they still have Oshimaghoto, and Strahan i still a threat to any Quarterback.

The Eagles. This is the same team that went to the Superbowl two years ago. Don't get it twisted, they didn't have a bad season b/c they missed TO, they had a bad season b/c their leader and QB was gone: Donovan. He's going to come back and they are going to pwn up. Brian Westbrook is bound to have a come back year, and that defense is still VERY dangerous. Giants have a shot, but they didn't draft very well this year, as a matter of fact I would go as far to say that they might have drafted TERRIBLY. They didn't address many of their needs and in a division with teams making very substantial moves in the offseason (Dallas: TO, Washington: bought every big name player on the market), they didn't step it up. Plus, what was that whole "gay" ordeal with Strahan, that's sure to leave a mark on taht defense. I love Eli, but I'm buying the Eagles this year.

The NFL could lose funds in the event that they did that because of the fact of much less Primetime Divisional matchups that take place two times a year. could u fairly watch Dallas @ Philly or Philly @ Carolina. The latter could maximum in all probability no longer be aired everywhere different than Carolina and Philly broadcasting platforms. on a similar time as The Dallas game confirmed united states extensive. Its all with regard to the rankings and followers love the history and for 2 video games archives dont count. The 4-10 Skins ought to truthfully pull a upset of the 9-5 Cowboys.

The Washington Redskins. They were already fine last year makin it farther into the playoffs than most people expected them to. With the addition of Antwan Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Adam Archuleta, Andre Carter, and Kenny Wright there is plenty of experience on the team now. They scored more points then the Giants did in the playoffs and now with Al Saunders there should be no problem getting around on offense with his help leading the Chiefs with the number one offense in the AFC last year.
