I tried to create an account on my space but I cannot access the security text. There is just a square with an x in it. Does any one know how I can retrieve the text? Is there something I should temporarely disable? help.......

I am a member on Myspace and they've been experiencing techical difficulties over the past week or two. I'm unsure if this was caused by an influx of new members or a major power outage that occured near their headquarters.
I would suggest that you wait a couple of days and try again. They are working to get things straightened out. Good Luck, and maybe I'll see you there...

Try again, just a while ago, many people were having problems with Myspace, accounts seemed to be deleted, and people who tried to make new ones were denied. They were doing some maintenance, and were moving some databases around. The reason they were moving the database things around was because someone liked the Myspace Music idea and wanted to buy something from Myspace for 580 Million. Something along those lines. I don't know but maybe you could close your account and then try to open another one. If the problem still happens try contacting myspace. I never had that happen to me.

Latest Update: 08:59AM PST, Friday, July 28th. hiya - your accounts are not deleted. we're just moving some databases around to a new data center. we're workin on things right now.

They could be having problems...again. Try right-clicking and click "show picture" or whatever it says. If not just wait until later. Good luck.

try typin X or lower case x when u see that box for security text let me know if that works!!!!

just write in the letters, not the square. write in the freaking x thats it
