...do doctors, nurses, etc. make lewd comments, or laugh about the patient's body? Do you think they ever take a peek at parts of the patient's body which are unrelated to the surgery or procedure?

These days, I can almost guarantee you that they do not. Even if this kind of behavior was tolerated years ago, they certainly aren't doing it today - if nothing else, for fear of a lawsuit and possibly losing their license.

Besides that, most doctors are professionals who, not only wouldn't do it themself, but would probably turn in a colleague who did such a thing.

Very doubtful. They may talk or joke, but not about you. There will be a lot of people in the room, and like any workplace, they can get in trouble for harrassment if they do this. You think a nurse would let a Dr. peak at you while you are under and not report him??? Come on, if anything like this happens, it is rare. More likly to only happen in a situation like the dentist where not many are in the room.

You would have to have a really sick doctor or nurse to do that. I'm not saying it doesn't happen. I'm sure it does. I'm just saying that most doctors have probably gone through so much training about human anatomy that they have seen it all already.

I certainly hope they don't. Don't doctors have to go through all kinds of ethics training. But then no one's perfect.
