Jack/Ace wins. Always take best 5 cards. Player A has Jack, Jack, King, 10, 9 and player B has Jack, Jack, Ace, King, 10. So the pair of Jacks with Ace hight wins.

What you described is not what you ask in your question. The players in your senario have only a pair of jacks, not three of a kind.

Anyway, the player with the jack ace wins because he has a higher "kicker" card. If you and another player have and equal pair/three of a kind, etc, you then go to the highest card to determine the winner.

player b wins with the pair of jacks with an ace kicker...if 2 players have three of a kind it would either be a split pot or decided by kickers..for example if one player had ace king and the other has ace queen and the community cards are ace, ace, ten nine, two then player one takes it with the king kicker

I don't see any three of a kind in these hands. I see three players with a pair of Jacks. With two or three of a kind or even four of a kind ties, you look for the highest cards available in the chosen hand of 5 cards—the highest there wins. In your example the guy with the ace. If there is a 5 card tie, the pot is split evenly.

Player B wins with a pair of jacks with an ace kicker. Player A only has a pair of jacks with a king kicker. (There is no triple.)

Player B wins. Player B has 'pocket' Ace, Jack and holds the 'over' card, that is the ace beats the nine.
Know when to hold 'em..........

jack and ace wins. You take the best five cards out of a total of seven cards, the five on the table and the two in your hand.

But you could come up with a scenario in which both players had the exact same best five cards. In that case they would split the pot.
