I think you're correct about the big ego part, but I would not go so far as to say that he is untalented. I think he is a rather talented singer, in fact. The ego part is a bit off-putting until you realize that it is tounge-in-cheek and that he is as often making fun of himself as he is actually strutting and posing.

He holds a certain charm for those who like in-the-closet, monkey-faced holiday-camp-style entertainers. And: For goodness' sake - it IS Robbie Williams, not ROBIN WILLIAMS; just because you Yanks haven't heard of him (or rightly hate him), doesn't mean people mistakenly mean the hairy "comedian"... While I'm at it, he's shite too.

His music is easy listening and aimed at a very wide market. He is egotistical but in a lovable rogue way. The ladies can't get enough. He isn't too poncy so blokes can almost get away with liking him.

He is a totally talentless tool but I think he redeemed himself when he sang on the De-lovely soundtrack... I have no use for anything else that ever fell from his mouth. He is a George Michael wanna-be.

Because he's sexy, talented and is the only one out of Take That who made something of themselves! I love Robbie, been listening to 'Intensive Care' all afternoon, fab CD. Yes, he's arrogant, wouldnt you be if you were him?

I don't know... I kinda like some of his songs. And there's a difference between Robbie (singer) and Robin (actor).

bcz he is charmatic, his so called arrogance is a tongue in entertaining cheeky chappy front, he is actually pretty sensitive and nice in interviews, he hasreal stage presence, his songs are good...
not saying he has the best voice or best songs etc but he is a half decent artist compared to most other pop acts nowourdays!!!!
He has been around long enough and is famous enough and popular enough to have withstood the test of time for so long...
although in my opnion he is going a bit downhill song quality wise now...
so to round off he is not the best singer in the world but he is def not the worst and is one of the best pop artists the uk has had to offer in the last decade or so and he will be remembered in years to come!!!
Not to mention the song Angels bcz it was released aournd the time princess Diana died...
enough said!
everyone is entitled to their own opnion thought but he has enough fans to justify his popularity so hey just be grateful your not forced to listen to him or something!! lol...
