Carl Crawford from Tampa Bay just recently
Updated: 11:56 p.m. ET July 5, 2006
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Carl Crawford started plotting his strategy the night before, hoping for an opportunity to catch Boston off guard and steal home.
“It’s the first time at any level,” the speedy Tampa Bay outfielder said Wednesday night after stealing three bases, including home, in a 5-2 victory, the Devil Rays’ third straight over the Red Sox.

Ever? Jackie Robinson did it.
The last National League player to steal second, then third, then home plate during the same inning was Eric Young of the Colorado Rockies on June 30, 1996.
The last American League player to steal second, then third, then home plate during the same inning was Chris Stynes of the Kansas City Royals on May 12, 1996.

Once Don Hoak was on Third Base.
A foul ball was struck and he ran 89 feet towards home.
The umpire asked him what was up and he replied that he
was "taking his lead off 3rd"
This caused a rule to be added that the runner must
return to a base after a foul ball until the ball is put
back into play.
He did manage to steal home (that time).
