I went there a few years ago, and down the street is Mitchie's Tavern - first place I ever had a Sam Adams beer.

The grounds were being dug up looking for seeds that TJ may have planted from hybrids he was creating.

His house was full of inventive devices that he created (french doors with a pulley system, so both doors moved together).

Well, Monticello, Indiana is pronounced Mont-ah-sell-o & I've heard his former residency pronounced the same way so I'm fairly certain (99.999999%) that is the correct way to pronounce it. Honest. :) Now go out & have a great weekend!
