You need a boot floppy to boot to the a: drive. And you have to set your bios to boot to the a: drive. Once there type a:\format c:

if you are wiping everything follow this otherwise i need more info

put you os cd into the cd drive.
restart your computer
upon startup there should be a screen that tells you to push a key to enter setup (F1, F2, Esc, Del, et.) push the key.
when the BIOS setup loads there should be, under one of the tabs, a boot order. change the boot order so that the cd drive is first and the Hard drive is second.
Exit the BIOS setup (saving changes)
After this there should be a screen that says press any key to boot from cd. you will only have about 5 sec to press a key so watch for it.
it will load a few drivers, and files. once it gets to a screen where there are a few options like repairing, installing, etc. select installing the new os
under installing the new os it should ask you what partition you would like to use. If you have the partitions the way you want them remeber their sizes and then delete them, repartitoin it, and format the partitions.
at this point the os will install to the partions after the os installs if it is windows go to start -> control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management -> disk manegment. you should see the second partion right click on it. if the option to "Make partion active" is clickable(not greyed out) click it. after that format the partion and you will be good to go.

Place the Windows CD into the drive (and this should be the bootable CD with Windows OS on it). The PC will boot up from the CD and will give you option to format.
