I have already installed windows xp service pack 2.still its giving errors. can ne body help me out???plzzzz......i wud appreciate it very much if ne 1 cud.the service is already running, but windows says that its disabled.

got the add/remove programs in the control panel and look at the optional windows components. look for the one that has BITS in it and if it is checked. uncheck it and continue on. this will uninstall your current BITS. then go to the option windows components again and check it and contine to reinstall. if it is not checked check it and continue
