ive ordered something online from america and im in the uk..ups are delivering it..will i get any extra charges or taxes ????

Yes, you will pay customs duty, VAT and handling. (Unless the vendor marks it as a trade sample - Thanks tshirthell.com!)

A rough estimate is 20% of your order value.

Once the tracking shows it clearing customs, you can ring them and pay it on the phone.

Shipping should have been figured when you placed the order on the Internet. Once the order ships from the seller, there will be no additional charges to you on delivery.

You may have to pay duty depending on what you ordered. I had to pay duty on items shipped from Canada to the US. Of course, the notice came three months after delivery.
