I think it is funny how people complain about gas going up a few cents... but never complain about spending $4 on a coffee at Starbucks. It's just coffee and milk!!

Gas prices do suck... but as I can't do much about them besides limiting my driving, I try not to get too upset.

We are paying more as prices continue to even still rise, while the oil corporations are seeing record profits. We have no choice but to pay and use gas so because we need it on a daily basis. So the prices will still grow. They know we will buy gas so they just get richer and richer. It is wrong but sadly there is nothing we can do about it. Politicians, I beileve, have money stocked in oil; therefore, we wont see much of a fight from them to get prices back down. There are other alternatives to gas, but those options are not being used widely here yet. There are proven other forms of energy used in other countries, but since this country is full of money hungry tycoons, we will not see anything in wide use for a long time. I dont have time to find my sources right now, but search the internet and youll see for yourself. I feel your pain, but so far it hasnt stopped some people from continuing to buy gas guzzling SUVs and trucks. Maybe they just make a lot of money or they care more about what they drive and how thier ride looks

A while back I asked if it might be possible to sue the oil companies for price gouging. The response I got back was mixed and somewhat supportive, but no one seems to know exactly what can be done to curb the tremendous appetite for profits the oil company is having. Maybe there should be an ordinance outlawing pride gouging the people in this country. The minute the president said that whatever the market says the price should be is fair is when they went crazy and acted like it was a rubber stamp from the president to raise prices...........

We all kick off when things like gas & petrol go up & up, but we get used to the new prices which then seem like the norm , but the producers always stick prices up in leaps & bounds but IF they ever do come down again they always come down by such an insignificant amount that its not worth the hassle .....

Bush and Blair got there because people voted for them. You have a choice. Find a candidate - start a movement - put them both in gaol.

tired of hearing that bush is messing stuff up for oil, when it is obvious that we are not profiting in any way. do people think that bush or his party will get more votes when gas is at record highs during his administration?
