do one thing open your messenger and then go to my profiles in this you can make an another id and use it as well though the address will the same

Go to mail options located at the upper right of the page. Select General Preferrences. You can change your name there =D

in case you want to change your ScreenName (the one that appears with the Yahoo IM and on Yahoo Answers) then go to http://profiles.yahoo.com ... sign-in ... you will see your profile there.. look for the EDIT link and click on it... change your PROFILE NAME to whatever you wish..
in case you also wish to change your NAME that appears with emails you send then in the same page change your NAME to the new one.. this feature is also accessible from the Y! Mail Options in you inbox

i don't think you could change your user name but you can make it inactive and then create a new user name connected to the address you want to use.
