First thing, write a check for my tithe's and help open a Christian School for our church body.
Second: Get a financial advisor to help us purchase a building in Chicago, a building in New York, a building in Dallas, and a building in Los Angeles.
Whatever is left, we would open a half-way house for teenage pregnant women.

it depend on how much I won.
But I'll assume it's an ungoddly amount.
1st. I'd quite my job
2nd I'd have a big party
3rd I'd talk to a finance lawyer
- How to best protect what I've won and keep it growing.
- Set up best system to give each one of my friends and bothers and sisters with a home they would like. (Might have to buy and then rent to them for $1 a month or something to avoid gift taxes. But thats what the Lawyer would be for.)
4th Set up trust for my children
5th Buy new car for myself, hubby and children and a couple of friends that really need it.
6th Design and build a house I want on a piece of land I want
7th Go back to collage
8th Travel
9th Set up fund to help my friends and family younger generation go to collage.
10th Give money to space exploration research.
11th Give money to alternative energy research
12th Give money to help the homeless where I live
13th the list would have to be developed from here.

I would pay my way into LSU (Louisiana State University), publish all of my completed novels and poetry myself, get a Corvette, and buy myself a house of my own once I turn eighteen. I would also hire a housekeeper so that I wouldn't have to clean the house myself (I'm not very good at most household chores). But there is no way that I would spend my life as an uneducated and jobless loafer just because of extreme monetary wealth. It takes ambition even more so than money to make me satisfied with what I already have.

Set up a trust fund to take care of my aging family members, ensure that my kids future educational expenses are taken care of, and buy a small ranch on which I would spend much time over the next couple of years contemplating the best way to do some good in the world.

i would not take the payments in one lump sum then i would try to invest wisely, of course pay my bills and attend grad school without the stress of "how am i going to pay for this?" on my mind
if i could i would search for a few notable charities, donate to UW madison and others performing stem cell research and if i had any money remaining i would buy a few ponies and possibly open my own greenhouse!!!
the options are endless i would also like to donate or begin a fund for underpriviliged children possibly opening a school similar to Summerhill school in the vision of giving freedom to the children
the list could go on until i ran out of money in a responsible fashion...fashion would be the last thing i spent my moneyon tho i nice hybrid car would be great
ok doen spending money i will never have
good day
good question

Buy a home and two new cars for myself and my husband. Put money back for my boys' education. Pay off all of our debt. Pay off my inlaws' home and cars, plus give them a chunk to have fun with. Help both of my sisters in law buy new homes and cars. Buy a home and car for my brother. Put back a large chunk to live on when we retire. Donate to a couple of charities...most likely the Humane Society and maybe a local charity. After all that, have a little fun shopping and put the rest in an account to live on. My husband loves what he does so he would keep working. I'd continue to stay at home with my kids. I'd be able to be the "room mom" and stuff like that when they go to school.

Tell my bill collectors and the banks to kiss my azz, pay my mama back the $5k I owe her, buy a house, trade in my Escort for something nicer, put a lot away in a savings account for my unborn daughter, go to college and take every course they have available, shop til I drop, buy some real estate properties and sell them, buy a car dealership and pro sports team and save the rest. Whew, that's a lot. I'd try to spend it all before I die so no one would be left fighting over it and only leave just enough to bury me.

Try to stay humble and go about business the regular way. Get a lawyer and of course, invest some of it. Then, take a 2 week vacation to somewhere I've never been.
