I had one that lasted 4 months, and one that lasted 20 hours, so I need to know, is it safe to buy one now?

Just make sure when you buy it you get the extended warranty and above all else, get the one with a generation 2 processor

lol you really beat the odds, the odds of buying two xbox 360's with bugs is about one in like a million (if not more) you should go get a lottery ticket! it's safe now, but don't buy it online, buy it at gamestop or something because most of the discopunt ones online are from the "bugged batch"

You could always send it to Microsoft. Call 1800-for-my-xbox or something like that it should be in a manual somewhere. They will tell you to send it in. You'll get it back in a week. I sent mine in after it broke 2 months after i got it. Now i've had this one fore about 4-5 months and its fine
