I've seen the trailer. I'm a big fan of Sly but the movie is just the same as the others. He's is the underdog and and the whole world is against him (in Part IV, his age is against him as well), friends and family says he can't beat the new champ so he decides once again to prove himself.
I thought that if there was going to be a Rocky IV, then it should of been about his son. The same way Mickey trained Rocky to be the "Italian Stallion" and then the Champ, and since in part V, Rocky denied his son to train Tommy Gunn (which backfired). Rocky's son should of gotten his chance. They started to build that character in Rocky 2, so why didn't they think about it now ... We will never ever know...

Of course! I don't think the Rocky story-line has been fully explored! I mean, what's Rocky going to do this time? He's probably going to show up in the Middle East after he gets a message from Rambo that he's found Osama. Then he's going set up a boxing tournament between the Sunnis and the Shiites. Hezbollah will train one team and Al-Quaida will train the other. When the winner of that tourney is decided they will have to fight Rocky for world domination. He'll get beaten badly around the ring to within an inch of his life for the first 10 rounds, but just when you think he's down and out, he'll come out, get mad and win the whole damned thing!

The first Rocky was a great movie. Rocky II was so-so. III was okay. IV got pretty silly. V is my favourite after the first one.
So to me, Sly had ended on a high note. Now it looks like he's going to ruin that.

I loved Rocky I, II, III, and IV, but V was too much and VI is just plain stupid. Sylvester Stalone is beating a dead horse.
