preseason games are like practice games that don't really count ..... a "season ticket" allows you to go to all of the regular season home games (the ones that DO count)

The pre-season game do not count against the standings. The NFL has these games to help get ready for the regular season and help decide who makes the team for the regular season. Also if you have season tickets, they will give you tickets to the pre-season games and the regualr season games. Most teams play 4 pre-season games 2 at home and 2 away. Then in the regular season a NFL teams play 8 home and 8 away games.
Have fun and just dont root for the Raiders!!!!

Season counts, pre-season doesn't.

That, and the Niners and Raiders meet in Oakland in the pre-season; they're in San Francisco in Week 5 of the season.

God, that game will set football back at least 2 decades.

pre-season is when all of the rookis and the players get aquainted with the playbook and they try to get the starting job for the season. The season is when u try to help ure team make the playoffs to win the Super Bowl.

Pre-season is before they start keeping track of the record. It also is a "tryout" for the new players and will help determine if a player will be cut or if they will be put into a different position

no difference in the tickets...usually the same price, regular season or pre-season...different approach by the coaches to the games though...pre-season= scrimmage/see who we should cut... season=my job is on the line so the best players play...

pre-season games are like practice games that mean nothing in the statbooks and standings, and Win-loss column. Regular season is when they are actually playing for Playoff spots and salaries.
