There is an area down by U of H that is called "The Black River Oaks." However, that area is not "upper middle class"- I'd say straight upper class. It's very large homes. You're probably looking at doctors from the med center in those homes. I wish I could remember the name of the area or the streets... All I can remember is that there are gorgeous 1960s mansions along a bayou. Hermann Park golf course is predom. black. I believe it was the 1st course in Houston to allow black golfers, so it has built quite a following. You might nosey around there to get some info on where in Houston the golfers call home. A couple of my married black friends live in Meyerland area. Both couples grew up around there and left, then moved back. It's not "predominantly black", though, and they're mostly young professionals. Good luck with your movie! It's a huge undertaking and I hope you find much success. =)

I live in South London, UK, in a predominantly Black neighbourhood, I'm white and in the minority in this area. I love it and the diverse cultures. The area is middle to upper class with some lovely large properties and good schools.
